At Uqhakazo Gas & Energy, we are committed to delivering quality products and reliable service. Due to the nature of our products, particularly LPG gas and related equipment, our returns and refund policy is structured to prioritise safety, compliance, and product integrity.
Our standard return window is within 7 days of delivery for eligible items. Requests made beyond this period may not qualify for a return or refund.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, unopened and in its original condition
- The item must be returned in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
Important:
For safety reasons, gas cylinders that have been used, refilled, or tampered with cannot be returned or refunded.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- LPG gas (once supplied or delivered)
- Used or partially used gas cylinders
- Products classified as hazardous or flammable
- Items damaged due to misuse or incorrect handling after delivery
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged item or incorrect order, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will assess the issue and, where applicable:
- Arrange a replacement, or
- Provide a refund or exchange
All claims must include clear proof (e.g. photos) and order details.
Refunds
Once a return is approved and the item has been inspected:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
You will be notified once your refund has been approved and processed.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund has not been received:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your payment provider or bank (processing delays may apply)
- If the issue persists, contact us directly for assistance
Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for:
- Defective products
- Incorrect items supplied
To request an exchange, please contact us with your order details and reason for exchange. Approved exchanges will be arranged accordingly.
Return Delivered Products
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
- Delivery costs are inclusive in all products
- We recommend using a trackable delivery service for returns
Return address details will be provided upon approval of your return request.
